Mergansers on the Move


Spring is in the air.  Over the last two days, we spotted both the Common Merganser (above) and the Hooded Merganser (below), in our cove on Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg. Unfortunately, they are only here for a few days as they head further north.

Tool Using Crows


When looking at us, crows always have this mysterious look.  Who does not remember one of the original horror films "Birds".  Did we learn from crows or them from us? Either way, amazing!
